Once you’ve submitted your request to cancel hosting and maintenance services, TAS will provide a download link for your site’s backup to ensure a smooth transition to your new hosting provider.
Your backup will include two versions, each designed for different needs and technical setups:
Option One: All-In-One Migration Directory
This method is ideal for restoring your site and database on a new WordPress installation. Follow these steps:
- Install the Plugin: Download and activate the 'All in One Migration' plugin from the WordPress plugin directory.
- Import the Backup: Use the 'All in One Migration' plugin to import the backup file provided.
Note: If the backup file exceeds 1GB, you will need to purchase the licensed version of the 'All in One Migration' plugin.
Option Two: FTP Upload Directory
For those who prefer a manual approach and have experience with WordPress configuration, this method involves:
- FTP Upload: Upload the site files manually via FTP to your new hosting server.
- Database Import: Import the site’s database into your new hosting server.
All necessary backup files for both the site and database are included in the directory provided by TAS support team.
