How to Share Large Files with TAS Print

  • 0

Introduction:

TAS client Portal is designed to streamline your support experience. When it comes to sharing large files, including photos, videos, and documents, we recommend utilizing external file-sharing services such as Dropbox, OneDrive, WeTransfer, or similar platforms. This guide will walk you through the steps of sharing files seamlessly through our helpdesk.

Steps to Share Files:

  1. Choose a File-Sharing Service: Begin by selecting a reliable file-sharing service that suits your preferences and needs. Popular options include Dropbox, OneDrive, and WeTransfer. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
  2. Upload Files to the Chosen Service: Once logged in, upload the files you want to share onto the chosen file-sharing platform. Ensure that the files are appropriately organized and accessible.
  3. Generate Shareable Link: Most file-sharing services allow you to create a shareable link for your uploaded files. Locate this option in your chosen service and generate a link that can be accessed by others.
  4. Copy the Shareable Link: After generating the link, copy it to your clipboard. This link is what you will provide in the ticket details section on our Helpdesk Portal.
  5. Access TAS Belize Helpdesk: Log in to TAS Belize Helpdesk Ticketing Portal using your credentials.
  6. Create a new ticket or reply to an existing one: If you haven't already, initiate a new ticket to provide details about your support request. Alternatively, if you already have an existing ticket related to the current update request, simply reply to that ticket.
  7. Include Shareable Link in Ticket Details: In the ticket details section, paste the copied shareable link. This ensures our support team can easily access and download the files related to your request.
  8. Submit Ticket: Complete the ticket creation process by submitting the request. You will receive confirmation and can track the progress of your ticket.

Important Considerations:

  1. File Size Limits: Be aware of file size limits imposed by both TAS Client Portal and the chosen file-sharing service. Ensure your files comply with these limits.
  2. Security and Privacy: Always prioritize the security and privacy of your shared files. Choose file-sharing services that offer encryption and access controls.

By following these steps, you can efficiently share large files with our support team, ensuring a smooth and effective resolution to your support inquiries.
